Wayde는 여행 중에 간판·메뉴판·물건을 찍으면 번역하고 설명해 주는 앱이에요. 회원가입이 없어서 이름, 이메일, 전화번호는 받지 않아요.

1. 폰에만 남는 정보

아래 정보는 폰 안에만 저장돼요. Wayde 서버로 가지 않고, 앱을 지우면 같이 지워져요.

2. 서버로 가는 정보

사진과 글자

톡톡 두 번 눌러 자세히 보거나 AI 번역을 쓰면, 그 사진이나 글자가 Wayde 서버를 지나 Anthropic의 AI(Claude)로 가서 분석돼요. Wayde 서버에는 사진을 저장하지 않아요. Anthropic은 API로 받은 데이터를 기본적으로 AI 학습에 쓰지 않아요 (Anthropic 개인정보처리방침).

음식 프로필을 정해두면, 메뉴에 주의 표시를 하려고 그 내용(예: 땅콩 알레르기)도 같이 보내요.

언어팩을 받은 뒤의 톡 한 번 번역은 폰 안에서만 처리돼서 아무것도 보내지 않아요.

코인 기록

코인을 관리하려고 폰마다 임의의 아이디를 하나 만들어요. 서버(Supabase)에는 남은 코인, 여행팩 기간, 언제 무엇을 썼는지만 남아요. 사진 내용은 남지 않아요.

무료 코인을 여러 번 받아가는 걸 막으려고, 가입할 때 인터넷 주소(IP)를 원래 값으로 되돌릴 수 없는 형태로 바꿔서 하루 동안 기록해요.

위치

결제

결제는 Google Play에서 해요. Wayde는 카드 정보를 받지 않고, 결제가 맞는지 확인하는 결제 번호만 보관해요.

광고

코인을 받는 광고는 Google AdMob에서 나와요. AdMob은 광고를 보여주려고 기기의 광고 ID를 쓸 수 있어요 (Google 광고 정책). 광고 ID는 폰 설정에서 재설정하거나 맞춤 광고를 끌 수 있어요. 배너 광고나 팝업 광고는 없어요.

3. 이용하는 외부 서비스

이 서비스들은 서버가 대부분 미국 등 호주 밖에 있어서, 정보가 해외에서 처리될 수 있어요.

4. 보관 기간과 삭제

코인 기록은 앱을 쓰는 동안 보관해요. 지우고 싶으면 아래 메일로 연락 주세요. 앱을 지우면 폰 아이디도 사라져서, 남은 기록은 더 이상 이용자와 연결되지 않아요.

5. 어린이

Wayde는 13세 미만 어린이를 위한 앱이 아니에요.

6. 방침이 바뀔 때

내용이 바뀌면 이 페이지와 앱에서 알려드려요.

Wayde ("the app") translates and explains text, menus and objects you point your camera at while travelling. There is no sign-up, and we do not collect your name, email or phone number.

1. Stored only on your phone

These never leave your phone and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. Sent to servers

Photos and text (AI analysis)

When you double-tap for details or use AI translation, the photo or text is sent through our server to Anthropic's AI (Claude). Our server does not store photos. Anthropic states that it does not use API data to train its models by default (Anthropic Privacy Policy). If you set a food profile, it is sent along so the app can warn you about dishes. With a downloaded language pack, single-tap translation runs on your phone and nothing is sent.

Coin (credit) ledger

To manage coins we create a random ID for your phone and store your coin balance, travel-pass period and usage records (what was used and when — never photo content) on our server (Supabase). To limit abuse, sign-ups are rate-limited using a one-way hash of your IP address.

Payments

Payments are handled by Google Play. We never receive card details; we only keep the purchase token Google provides to verify the purchase.

Ads

Optional rewarded ads are shown by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID (Google ad policies). You can reset it or opt out of personalised ads in your phone settings. There are no banner or pop-up ads.

3. Service providers

Anthropic (AI), Vercel (server), Supabase (coin ledger), Google (Play billing, Maps, AdMob) and OpenStreetMap (city names). Their servers are mostly outside Australia (mainly the United States), so this information may be processed overseas.

4. Retention and deletion

The coin ledger is kept while you use the app. Email us to have it deleted. If you uninstall the app, the random phone ID is lost and the ledger can no longer be linked to you.

5. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

6. Changes

We will post any changes on this page and in the app.
